From placements to synthesis

Chart promise · supporting factors · timing

◎From placements to synthesis
01

Synthesis is the point at which Jyotish becomes interpretation rather than a catalogue of rules. The goal is to weigh several factors and identify patterns that repeat.

02

Begin with a clearly defined question. 'Career' can mean vocation, status, income, workplace conditions, entrepreneurship or timing, and those questions may emphasise different houses and significators.

03

Create an evidence stack: relevant house and lord, occupants, aspects, Karakas, repeated patterns in Vargas and finally the active Dasha. Repeated independent testimony deserves more weight than one dramatic isolated yoga.

04

Contradictions are useful information. One factor may promise opportunity while another adds delay, cost or instability. A mature reading describes both rather than forcing every symbol into one conclusion.

05

Start with natal promise. Add supporting or contradicting factors from lords, aspects, Nakshatras and Vargas. Only then bring in Dasha and transit timing.

06

Where indicators disagree, preserve uncertainty and compare strength, repetition and timing. Responsible interpretation weighs evidence instead of pretending that every chart factor speaks with one voice.

07

Finish by separating observation, interpretation and timing: state what is visibly present, what the pattern may mean and which period activates it. This makes the reasoning transparent and reviewable.
